Maxine Mendritzki, B.Ed. Honours

Mrs. Maxine Mendritzki is our Kindergarten Principal and afternoon kindergarten teacher. She has considerable experience teaching Grade 1 and 2 at the Calgary Board of Education and pre-school and kindergarten at Foothills Creative Beginnings. She provides a warm and accepting environment where all chldren can succeed.


Eniko Tomlinson, B.Ed.

Mrs. Eniko Tomlinson is the morning kindergarten teacher. She received her B.Ed. from the University of Alberta and after teaching in Ontario for five years, returned to Alberta. She has been teaching kindergarten at Foothills Creative Beginnings since 1997.

Mrs. Stephanie Darke

Mrs. Stephanie presents a dedicated music programme which is developmentally appropriate for both Preschool and Kindergarten children. Music classes are active, engaging and support a child’s whole development - social, physical, intellectual (including language and math), creative and emotional. Children also develop musical skills in areas of beat, rhythm, pitch and musical knowledge.

As the teacher of the Threes, Crystal recognizes learning through play is a vital part of the child’s development and plans appropriate and creative learning experiences for the children in her care.

Anne Johnson, ECE Diploma

As Preschool Program Director, Anne provides leadership and mentoring to staff members. As the Junior Kindergarten teacher Anne provides a nurturing, fun environment that promotes learning.

Bonnie Sask, BA, B.Ed.

Bonnie has experience with children 2-18 years and offers a program honoring the developmental level of each child in her class.

Kathryn offers a consistent, positive and structured program as she works closely with children, parents, colleagues and professionals.

Diane has a solid understanding of how children learn and respects each child’s personality and developmental level as she offers consistent, positive, and fun activities.
